Lowering blood pressure may lower your risk of a stroke or heart attack.<\/p>\n<p>Valsartan is also used in adults to treat heart failure?and lower your risk of needing to be hospitalized, and to lower your risk of death after a heart attack<\/p>\n<p><strong>Dosing:?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The recommended starting dose of Valsartan is 80 mg once daily. The antihypertensive effect is substantially present within 2 weeks, and maximal effects are attained within 4 weeks.
